Entrepreneurship Development Cell

Gnanam School of Business (GSB) has its strong footprint in the domain of entrepreneurship with its Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC). The ED cell was established in the year 2019. EDC organizes various programmes throughout the year namely Women Entrepreneur Programme, Meet the Entrepreneur, Business Plan Preparation, Coffee Table Talk, Ideathon Event, Design Thinking, Industry Voucher Programme and many more. EDC is actively functioning with the full involvement of student office bearers under the faculty co-ordiantor. Students are given exposure to interact with entrepreurs and gain deep insight through exclusively designed meet the entrepreneur programmes in every month. Also, GSB is a part of Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai.

KEY ACTIVITIES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL:

  1. Meet the Successpreneur Programme @ every semester.
  2. Arranging Industrial Visits to give enough exposure to students.
  3. Business Ideation and Plan Sessions periodically
  4. Encouraging students to participate Business Plan Competition
  5. Submit Business Plan Proposal to various relevant Government and Non-Government bodies for funding and training.
  6. To involve research, consultancy, extension through inbound and outbound activities.
  7. Encourage the students to enroll online and offline certification programmes and meets.
  8. Meet the Alumni Programme (who venture into their own business)
  9. Business Model and its Implication – Mini Project @ Every Semester under the supervision of the qualified trainers and faculty members of GSB.
  10. Two Skill Development Programmes @ every semester by trained resource person.
  11. Encouraging Core Faculty Members and EDC members to undergo training in Entrepreneurship at EDI, Ahmedabad and so on.
  12. Face to Face Interaction with the budding entrepreneurs during every academic term.
