Gnanam School of Business had organized its Annual Intra Collegiate Competition titled MAXIMUS 2024. Mr. S. Saravanan, Assistant Professor cum Faculty Coordinator GSB acted as the coordinator of the evet. There were 7 students from the Deming’s batch had chosen to conduct the event along with the faculty members as a Maximus 2024 organizing team namely, Abarna, Abinaya, Naveen Kumar, Yogeshwaran, Kritish Kumar, Yogeshwaran and Uma Maheshwaran. There were totally five events which were organized by the respective student clubs namely brand war (marketing emporia); stock war (Finrostra); business quiz (Cerebra); best manager (Law Incarnate) and Resomax (Opera Jaguars). Each club has assigned 3 of its club student members as a Nodal Event Executive Members of the event. They were coordinated with their respective club faculty coordinators to conduct the preliminary and finale of their events in a professional and ethical manner. The guidelines were sent duly to the students. Each club has registered for the all the five events with the objective of winning the overall title to their best of the ability. There were 193 students who took part in 5 programmes by representing their clubs. The preliminary rounds were conducted during the 2^nd and 3^rd October evening sessions and the finale student teams were announced. Except the HR Best Manager event, rest of the four competitions were group events. The competition was highly intensive. The finale was held on 9^th October, 2024 (9am to 5pm).               Ms. B R. Naaganivethitha, CEO, Wiziona of GSB Alumnus (2010-12 batch) decorated the event as the chief guest to distribute the prizes and the overall trophy.                 The Finrostra club emerged as the winner and overall trophy fetcher at the end of the event. The trophy was presented Team Finrostra Club and its Faculty                    Co-ordinator Mr.ADJ. Rajesh. The other winners of the events were duly felicitated with merit certificates. Dr.S.P.S. Arul Doss, Director&CEO, GSB delivered the special address and motivated the students. Mr. S. Saravanan, Assistant Professor cum Faculty Coordinator GSB delivered the vote of the thanks.
