Gnanam School of Business organized an insightful Alumni Interaction Programme titled “Industry Expectations from MBA Students” on December 13, 2025, at the GSB Auditorium. The session featured Mr. P. Vaidhiyanathan, Area Business Manager, TITAN Company Ltd., President, GSBAA, and a proud alumnus of the 2012–14 batch, as the resource person. The programme was conducted as part of the Wings of Wisdom – Academic Year 2025–26 initiative.

Mr. P. Vaidhiyanathan delivered a highly engaging and practical session, sharing his industry experiences and clearly outlining what corporates truly expect from MBA graduates in today’s competitive business environment. He emphasized that while skills and knowledge are essential, it is the right attitude that plays a decisive role in shaping long-term career success.

He explained that knowledge provides the foundation, skills enable application, but attitude determines growth, adaptability, and sustainability in one’s career. He strongly insisted that a positive attitude — including willingness to learn, resilience, discipline, and openness to change — is the most critical factor for professional advancement in any industry.

Drawing from his experience at TITAN Company Ltd., he spoke about evolving industry demands, workplace professionalism, ethical conduct, and the importance of aligning personal goals with organizational expectations. He encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills, stay industry-relevant, and cultivate the right mindset to handle challenges and opportunities effectively.

During the interactive session, students actively engaged with the speaker, seeking clarity on career progression, corporate expectations, and real-world workplace dynamics. Mr. Vaidhiyanathan’s practical insights and alumni perspective helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry realities.
