As part of its commitment to industry-relevant education and data-driven decision-making, Gnanam School of Business conducted a workshop titled \u201cApplication of Business Analytics in Management.\u201d The session was led by Mr. P. Vinoth, a seasoned business strategist and Director at Lyanaa, known for his expertise in translating analytics into actionable business strategies.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Introduce students to real-time applications of business analytics in diverse management domains.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical decision-making.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Inspire future managers to harness the power of data for solving business problems.<\/p>\n

Mr. P. Vinoth broke down complex analytics concepts into practical, real-world scenarios. He highlighted case studies from marketing, supply chain, and human resource analytics.<\/p>\n

The session covered essentials such as data visualization, predictive analytics, and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, and basic Python \u2014 tailored to a managerial perspective.<\/p>\n

Students were exposed to how data influences pricing strategies, customer segmentation, performance tracking, and operational efficiency in today\u2019s businesses.<\/p>\n

The workshop saw active participation, with students engaging in Q&A, scenario analysis, and discussions on how data can debunk assumptions and drive better business outcomes.<\/p>\n
