As part of its commitment to industry-relevant education and data-driven decision-making, Gnanam School of Business conducted a workshop titled “Application of Business Analytics in Management.” The session was led by Mr. P. Vinoth, a seasoned business strategist and Director at Lyanaa, known for his expertise in translating analytics into actionable business strategies.

The workshop aimed to:

· Introduce students to real-time applications of business analytics in diverse management domains.

· Bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical decision-making.

· Inspire future managers to harness the power of data for solving business problems.

Mr. P. Vinoth broke down complex analytics concepts into practical, real-world scenarios. He highlighted case studies from marketing, supply chain, and human resource analytics.

The session covered essentials such as data visualization, predictive analytics, and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, and basic Python — tailored to a managerial perspective.

Students were exposed to how data influences pricing strategies, customer segmentation, performance tracking, and operational efficiency in today’s businesses.

The workshop saw active participation, with students engaging in Q&A, scenario analysis, and discussions on how data can debunk assumptions and drive better business outcomes.
